Amicus Law has come to town! The expanding Somerset firm, founded in 2003, have taken over the long established and respected law firm, Jeremy Wood and Co. to extend their local office network to Yeovil. “Amicus has always had a strong philosophy of being a part of the community we serve, and the new office in Yeovil provides more local and convenient access for our clients in this part of South Somerset” commented Brian Wilkes, who is heading up the new office.

Amicus Law are one of the fastest growing Somerset law firms and the new Yeovil office adds to the established offices in Taunton, Minehead and Bridgwater. As partner Richard Haste commented, “ We have a very different approach to most law firms, with an emphasis on practical, common sense law delivered in a more friendly and flexible way. It is an approach people obviously like as we continue to attract more clients.”

The office is being led by Brian Wilkes and Rebecca Heal, both very experienced lawyers. Brian has extensive experience of the Yeovil market, having worked in a senior position in one of the other firms in the town previously.
