Disqualification removal
Can a disqualification be removed?
There are instances where you may return to Court and ask for your licence back. To do this you MUST be able to persuade the Court that you deserve your licence back before the period has come to an end.
This is certainly not the easiest of challenges. Often a significant change to your circumstances (such as a new job) is the best argument.
Here are the timescales that can be considered. If you feel it is appropriate then we strongly recommend you engage our legal support to assist you with this.
You may apply for your disqualification to be removed within the following timescales
- 2 years, if the disqualification is less than four years.
- One half of the period of disqualification, if it is for less than ten years but not less than four years.
- 5 years, if the disqualification was for ten years or more.
